In addition to the duties of their office as described in this Constitution and By-Laws, Vocational Pastors and Ministers shall perform the duties determined by the elders. The duties shall be in writing at the time of the call to service, and substantial changes shall be approved by the church. The church's call of a Vocational Pastor is a call to the eldership of the church. Therefore, Vocational Pastors shall be members of the Council of Elders and have all the biblical qualifications of an elder.
Vocational Ministers are not necessarily called to the eldership, but as assisting partners in the ministry. Vocational Ministers may, when deemed appropriate by the elders, be called by the church to the Council of Elders.
