The goal of this Constitution and By-Laws is twofold: First, to provide a framework for the structural administrative needs of a church in this world, second, to “render to Caesar what is Caesar’s” and meet the state and federal legal requirements of an incorporated not-for-profit church in the state of Oklahoma.

Other than any biblical parameters stated in this Constitution and By-Laws, this document is not intended to constrain nor limit any true biblical ministry of a local church. As a result, we must explicitly state that our final authority with regard to the administrative and ministerial functioning of this local church is God’s word – the Bible – not this document.

Jn 16:12-13
12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Jn 17:17

2 Tim 3:15-17
15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
2 Pet 1:20-21
20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Pet 3:15-16
15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.
