Subject to the limitations of this Constitution and By-Laws and of pertinent restrictions of state and federal law, all the activities and affairs of the Redeemer Bible Church shall be exercised by or under the direction of the elders. Without prejudice to such general powers, but subject to the same limitations, it is hereby expressly declared that the elders shall have the following powers in addition to any others enumerated in this Constitution and By-Laws: (1) To select and remove as described in this Constitution and By-Laws all officers, agents, pastors, staff and employees of the church, and to prescribe such duties for them consistent with the Bible, law and/or this Constitution and By-Laws, as they may deem best. (2) To generally conduct, manage and control the activities and affairs of the church and to make such rules and regulations consistent with the Bible, law and/or this Constitution and By-Laws, as they may deem best. (3) To establish policies and practices for the church consistent with the purposes of this church. (4) To make such disbursements from the funds and properties of Redeemer Bible Church as are required to fulfill the purposes of this church. (5) To carry on a business in which it may legally engage and apply any such proceeds that result from the business as they see fit.
