The financial secretary shall not be assisted in any way by the treasurer nor be a member of the treasurer's immediate family or household.  The financial secretary’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to; 1) being responsible for collecting, counting, recording and depositing in the church's accounts all offerings and gifts to the church, 2) weekly providing the treasurer with records and receipts of all offerings and gifts received and deposited, 3) keeping separate and individual records of all who give to the church, 4) annually in January, or as requested, providing each giver with a record of his/her gifts to the church, 5) annually, quarterly and as requested by the elders providing the treasurer and elders with any financial reports.  The financial secretary shall be nominated by the elders and elected by the congregation to serve a term of one year.
